LEIALTA announces the appointment of José Luna Luque as a new partner of the firm. This incorporation into the partnership structure recognises his professional career, leadership and direct contribution to the development of the Legal and Corporate area over recent years.
The appointment forms part of LEIALTA’s growth and consolidation strategy. It also reinforces the firm’s commitment to promoting internal talent, technical specialisation and the incorporation into management of professionals with in-depth knowledge of the organisation and of clients’ needs.
José Luna joined LEIALTA in 2016, within the Business and Corporate Restructuring area. In 2021, he took responsibility for the Department, where he has led its growth and coordinated projects involving significant legal and corporate complexity.
During his career at the firm, he has advised family businesses, national and international corporate groups, and companies involved in growth, reorganisation or transformation processes. His experience includes business restructuring transactions, acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs and other structural modifications, as well as projects related to the creation and legal structuring of Special Employment Centres.
His work has been characterised by combining legal rigour with a business-oriented vision focused on understanding the reality, objectives and specific needs of each company. From his position, he has also helped strengthen coordination between LEIALTA’s different areas to provide comprehensive advice on transactions with legal, corporate, tax, accounting and labour implications.
José Luna holds a law degree from the University of Granada and a master’s degree in legal Practice, specialising in International Business Law, from Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He has also completed his international training through the International Legal English Certificate and the International Business Law Program at Fordham University School of Law in New York.
His incorporation as partner represents the natural evolution of a career developed over a decade within LEIALTA. It also recognises his involvement, leadership capacity and commitment to clients and to the team.
